The Raypak 001642 ELS-R-552-2 SpaPak is a 5.5kw, 240V, 1 phase electric spa/hot tub heater. The ELS-R-552-2 features corrosion and rust-free copper and bronze waterways, and heavy duty incoloy heating elements, which increase the life of the heater. Other features include a pressure switch to prevent operation without water flow, a high limit temperature control to prevent overheating and a dependable quality thermostat. Standard size, full flow NPT male 1-1/2" inlet and outlet connections are conveniently located. Tech Specs: 18,767 BTU/H, draws 23 amps @ 240V.Also available in an 11kw model, which heats up twice as many gallons of water as the 5.5kw model in the same amount of time.
